APKWS II - The Advanced Precision Kill Weapon System (APKWS) II converts “dumbfire” Hydra Rockets into Semi-Active Laser Homing (SALH) rockets. Think of it like a baby AGM-114 Hellfire, often seen, and sold with, the M151 warhead. Leave a note in your order if you’d like to switch it for another warhead
M247 - A High-Explosive, Anti-Tank (HEAT) warhead
Each rocket is at least two pieces for easy painting, the Mk66 Rocket Motor itself, and then the warhead. In the case of the M151 or M229, the M423 contact fuze or M429 proximity fuze are included and separate pieces, again for easy painting. The APKWS II body is another separate piece.
This product is 3d printed using mSLA technology, with a layer height of 10µm and a 12K resolution to provide the finest details as well as a near seamless surface finish.
