Nick “Andrej” Greene

Whether you know him as Nick or “Through A Smaller Lens”, Nick Greene has been an avid Scale Model Builder since the age of 13. He was drawn to building scale models after wanting more realism and detail than Legos could offer. Primarily focusing on military scale models in 1/35 scale, Nick has created several models based on the “What if?” and enjoys thinking out of the box. Whether it is intended to look new or abandoned, he creates works that are shrunken-down pieces of life. He says that these dioramas and vignettes “are frozen moments in time.” Whether it’s a new model or a model he’s made multiple times, he always enjoys taking on new projects and creating something unique.

In 2016, Nick won "Best Wheeled Vehicle" in AMPS ArmorCon East and was recently featured in Fine Scale Modeler’s Contest Cars 2021 Issue. He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Kettering University and works in the defense industry.
